An alphabetical list of notions that have come up in our discussions so far. They are divided into two categories: those that appear in documented patterns and those that do not (but are included for future consideration).

  • Measurement (There is ambiguity in this term. It could refer to the a) the description of a process, b) the act of application of a [measurement] process (that has a result), or c) the result(s) of the act of applying a [measurement] process. )
  • Process Again there is some ambiguity in the use of this term. It could be 'a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end' or just a series of actions where the particular end may not be known or knowable (without additional assumptions).
