for wayland I think you'd need to use a special portal/protocol to even get access to the pixels on the screen, you can't really do that through xwayland I think would be kinda cool to have this working for wayland I think, but tsoding is still on qtile so I don't think he's going to implement it |

I made sure that if you're using wayland, that boomer says something, then quits. I've tried a few things for boomer to run on wayland, but it just can't.
