This is a repository for our paper in Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series A: Statistics in Society.
Details of the model are included in our paper. In this repository, we provide the code for the model based on the year 2018. The code is divided into four sequential steps, where each component of the model is forecasted separately.
The data itself is not included in this repository. However, we provide an example of the transition in Transition (example).xlsx. This transition file is critical for implementing the model, as it outlines the key information required for the model.
The final results, including prediction intervals, can be found in Results (base year 2018).xlsx, which also includes the observed enrolment numbers for each year.
