I'm a doctoral researcher in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), exploring the world of Generative AI. My work focuses on pushing the boundaries of open-source language models — from fine-tuning and prompt engineering all the way to deploying real-world NLP/NLU systems that make a difference.

Before academia, I spent over a decade in the telecommunications industry, solving complex problems at scale. Now I bridge that experience with research, building tools and methods that bring AI out of the lab and into production.
