The privacy-first Ethereum hackathon ecosystem demonstrates **strong maturity and momentum** in 2025. ZK proofs are the de facto standard, geographic diversity is expanding, and emerging AI-privacy convergence is accelerating adoption. However, critical gaps remain in alternative privacy primitives (FHE, MPC), post-quantum readiness, and geographic coverage in the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
