Refactored JavaScript, PowerShell, and Bash scripts to streamline installation, improve release filtering, and enhance cross-platform compatibility. Introduced detailed processing of release assets, better version handling, and comprehensive pre/post-install behaviors. Webi's main goal is to enable easy, hassle-free installation of developer tools. That being said, I'd love to see Webi expand beyond developer tool installer to a day-to-day utility. Id like to hear what the maintainers' stand on this. |
