Description

Set the target temperature for the heated bed.

 M140 S70 ; Set the bed temperature

Arguments

 S<celsius> Required. The temperature to set.

Discussion

M140 changes the target temperature for the heated bed. Unlike the M190 command, it will not wait for the temperature to be reached before proceeding with the next command.

Notes

• Use M190 to wait for the target temperature to be reached. M190 can also be used to set the temperature, obviating the need for this command during a print job.
