Paper quality checklist

Checklist for paper submission

• [ ] Spell check has been performed
• [ ] No Text is escaping into the margin
• [ ] Any numerical results listed in the abstract are consistent with those listed in Results
• [ ] The paper has been read aloud, Does it:
  • [ ] Read smoothly?
  • [ ] Is it easy to understand?
  • [ ] Does anything sound odd or off?
• [ ] The paper passes the “So What?” question, i.e., motivation is clear
• [ ] Limitations are discussed at the end of the discussion
• [ ] The Results and discussion answers the questions stated in the Introduction
• [ ] The paper is consistent. Terms, figures, notation, used throughout the paper are consistent. Abstract, Introduction, Background etc are all internally consistent.
• [ ] Are the stated conclusions supported by the data?
• [ ] Conclusion in the abstract is the same conclusion in the discussion
