Setup Defaults and Auto Update

On the Set Defaults menu, you can set your callsign and state before you save all of the settings.

ASC-DB has a built-in function called Auto-Update. This function will accomplish an update of the database at a specified day and time. The default value is 03:00 local time every day. By default, the Auto-Update function is disabled. In the menu, select "Set Defaults". Use the pull-down lists to set the time. Additional options are to set a Day of the Week, Day of the Month and/or the Month. Those options are set with a wildcard match, however, you can choose a different setting.

Once you have the day and time set up, choose the "Enable" indicated by Auto-Fetch and then save it.

To disable the Auto-Update, go to the "Set Defaults" menu and set the Auto-Fetch to "Disabled". Then save it.

ASC-DB with Auto-Update enabled will need to be running at the designated time of day.
