Tip: When you attempt to import/update a VEC and your Internet connection (or the website) is down, ASC-DB will appear to hang. However, the Reports menu will work just fine. Check your Internet connection and/or try to import/update the other VEC.

Next Tip: If you have a problem importing from either ARRL or GLAARG, the database might have a corruption typically caused by the Internet. In the File Menu, use the "Reset database" option. Then set the defaults and import again.

Next Tip: While ASC-DB is busy doing an Import / Update, Windows may report that the program is "Not Responding" when you click on it. When you start an import or update, simply use the minimize button at the top-right of the window (or top left for MacOS) and shrink the program into the task bar until it is done.

Next Tip: IF the top 100 report for GLAARG shows wierd results, it probably is from a database corruption. Try resetting the database and re-import the sessions.
