Roundabout uses its own config system and does not rely on dependencies to operate. Roundabout's configs are spread across three files: roundabout.json, roundabout-clientOnly.json, and roundabout-advanced.json.

Roundabout config files can be found in the "config" folder of the CurseForge instance and within server files. The Common (roundabout.json) and Client (roundabout-clientOnly.json) config settings can also be changed through an in-game menu.

The in-game configs can only be edited from the title screen. Config options are available to reposition the "JoJo" button that opens the config menu.

  • "stand_arrow_poolv3" - Sets stands that can be rolled as a Main Stand using a Stand Arrow
  • "stand_arrow_secondary_poolv5" - Sets stands that can be rolled as a Secondary Stand using a Stand Arrow
  • "natural_stand_user_mob_poolv5" - Sets stands that any natural stand user mob can spawn with.
  • "humanoid_only_stand_user_mob_poolv2" - Sets stands that exclusively humanoid natural stand user mobs can spawn with.
  • "walking_heart_walk_on_block_blacklist" - Sets blocks that Walking Heart cannot use Wall Walking on.
  • "stand_block_grab_blacklist" - Sets blocks that cannot be picked up or thrown using stand abilities.
  • "natural_stand_user_mob_blacklist" - Sets mobs that are unable to spawn as natural stand users.

* **levels_to_get_stand:** 15 by default, sets the required EXP levels to acquire a stand from a Stand Arrow.
* **levels_to_reroll_stand:** 1 by default, sets the cost to reroll the stand contained in a Stand Arrow.
* **can_awaken_other_players_with_arrows:** false by default, allows players to shoot other players with a Stand Arrow to grant them a stand.
* **enable_stand_leveling:** true by default, causes stands to begin with locked abilities and skins that are acquired by gaining Stand experience.
* **stand_experience_needed_for_levelup_multiplier:** 100 by default, sets the stand experience needed to gain a stand level.
* **barrage_has_area_of_effect:** true by default, allows stand barrage attacks to hit multiple targets within its targeting area.
* **disable_melee_while_stand_active:** true by default, prevents usage of melee attacks while a direct combat stand is summoned.
* **disable_bleeding_and_blood_splatters:** false by default, prevents blood splatters from forming and prevents the Bleed effect from triggering.
* **stand_discs_drop_with_keep_game_rule_off:** false by default, causes stand user players to drop their stand disc upon dying if the "roundaboutKeepStandsOnDeath" gamerule is false.
* **stand_guard_delay_ticks:** 3 by default, sets the delay, in ticks, between a stand guard being initiated and being effective.
* **fabric_terrier_spawn_weight_in_taiga_use_datapack_for_forge:** 2 by default, sets the spawn weight of terriers in Taiga biomes. (Fabric Only)
* **fabric_terrier_spawn_weight_in_desert_use_datapack_for_forge:** 1 by default, sets the spawn weight of terriers in Desert biomes. (Fabric Only)
* **worthy_mob_odds:** 0.05 by default (5%), sets the probability of mobs spawning worthy of a stand.
* **stand_user_odds:** 0.005 by default (0.5%), sets the probability of mobs spawning as stand users.
* **stand_user_villager_odds:** 0.02 by default, sets the probability of villagers spawning as stand users.
* **user_and_worthy_breeding_odds_bonus:** 0.15 by default, sets the increase in chance for a worthy/stand user mob's child to be worthy or a stand user.
* **multiply_above_for_villager_breeding:** 2 by default, sets the increase in chance for a worthy/stand user villager's child to be worthy or a stand user.
* **star_platinum_scope_uses_potion_effect_for_night_vision:** false by default, causes Star Platinum's scope ability to apply Night Vision as a potion effect to aid compatibility with mods that change vision properties.
* **justice_fog_and_pilot_range:** 100 by default, sets the block radius of Justice's fog.
* **justice_max_corpses:** 12 by default, determines the maximum number of corpses that a justice-user can have active at once.
* **justice_stand_user_mob_minion_count:** 5 by default, determines the maximum number of corpse minions a Justice-user mob can have summoned at a time.
* **justice_corpses_use_owner_team:** true by default, causes the corpses of a Justice-user to be members of the same scoreboard teams as the user.
* **max_magicians_red_flames:** 100 by default, determines the number of Stand Flame blocks a Magician's Red user can have at one time.
* **max_magicians_red_flame_distance:** 100 by default, determines the maximum radial distance from the user beyond which Magician's Red Stand Fires will extinguish.
* **magicians_red_furnace_ticks:** 1100 by default, determines the length of time, in ticks, that Magician's Red's "Ignite" ability will power a furnace.
* **base_punch_angle:** 15 by default, determines the angle spread of the effective stand punch hitbox. Larger values result in a more generous attack hitbox.
* **stand_arrow_poolv1:** [All completed Stand Disc IDs] by default, determines what stands can be obtained by using a Stand Arrow.
* **natural_stand_user_mob_poolv1:** [All completed Stand Disc IDs] by default, determines what stands mobs are capable of naturally spawning with.

Charge Settings: (in ticks)
* **barrage_windup:** 29 by default, sets the amount of time required to charge a barrage before it begins.
* **kick_barrage_windup:** 20 by default, sets the amount of time required to charge a kick barrage before it begins.
* **magicians_red_fireballs_windup:** 29 by default, sets the time required to charge up a Magician's Red "Barrage of Fireballs" before it begins.
* **magicians_red_flamethrower_windup:** 24 by default, sets the time required to charge up a Magician's Red "Flamethrower" before it begins.
* **mobs_interrupt_some_stand_attacks:** true by default, allows mob attacks to interrupt some moves, such as barrages and time-stops.
* **stands_interrupt_some_stand_attacks:** true by default, allows stand attacks to interrupt some moves, such as barrages and time-stops.
* **players_interrupt_some_stand_attacks:** true by default, allows player attacks to interrupt some moves, such as barrages and time-stops.
* **barrages_are_always_interruptable:** true by default, allows attacks of any kind to interrupt barrages, regardless of other configs.

Damage Multipliers: (100 = "Base Damage,” in percentage)
* **bonus_stand_dmg_by_max_level:** 0 by default. If modified, allows stands to gain bonus damage each time they levels up, capping out at the percentage value set. For example, if a stand’s punch does 5 damage and the value is set to 100, the stand’s punch would do 10 damage by the time it reaches max level.
* **star_platinum_attacks_on_mobs:** 100 by default.
* **star_platinum_attacks_on_players:** 100 by default.
* **the_world_attacks_on_mobs:** 100 by default.

* **stand_guard_multiplier:** 100 by default, determines stand guard durability (durability rises at higher values).
* **gasoline_explosion:** 100 by default.
* **knife_damage_on_mobs:** 100 by default.
* **knife_damage_on_players:** 100 by default.
* **max_knives_in_one_hit:** 12 by default, sets the limit of knives (and/or matches) that can hit a single target in a given moment.
* **match_damage:** 100 by default.
* **stand_user_mobs_take_player_damage_multipliers:** true by default, causes stand-user mobs to take less damage from stand attacks.

Guard Points: (Determines how much stands can block before their guard is disabled)
* **the_world_defend:** 15 by default.
* **star_platinum_defend:** 15 by default.
* **magicians_red_defend:** 10 by default.
* **d4c_defend:** 12 by default.

Mining Settings: (Tier 0: hand level, Tier 1: Wood Pickaxe, Tier 2: Stone Pickaxe, Tier 3: Iron Pickaxe, Tier 4: Diamond Pickaxe)
* **speed_multiplier_star_platinum:** 100 by default.
* **speed_multiplier_the_world:** 100 by default.
* **speed_multiplier_magicians_red:** 100 by default.
* **get_mining_tier_star_platinum:** 0 by default.
* **get_mining_tier_the_world:** 0 by default.

Cooldowns: (in ticks)
* **stand_punch:** 27 by default, sets the cooldown following the first 2 punches in a string before the string resets.
* **final_stand_punch_in_string:** 37 by default, sets the cooldown following the final stand punch in a string before another punch can be performed.
* **final_punch_and_kick_minimum:** 20 by default, sets the minimum cooldown for the Final Punch/Kick attacks.
* **star_platinum_guardian:** 200 by default.
* **barrage_recoil:** 35 by default.
* **star_finger:** 90 by default.
* **star_finger_interrupt:** 90 by default, sets the cooldown length for Star Finger if interrupted.
* **the_world_assault:** 40 by default.
* **the_world_assault_interrupt:** 60 by default, sets the cooldown length for The World's Assault ability if interrupted.
* **dash:** 120 by default.
* **jumping_dash:** 160 by default.
* **stand_jump:** 280 by default.
* **stand_jump_and_dash_share_cooldown:** true by default, causes the Stand Jump and Dash abilities to share a cooldown.
* **vaulting:** 80 by default.
* **impale_attack:** 40 by default.
* **object_throw:** 30 by default.

* **creative_mode_refreshes_cooldowns:** true by default, causes Creative-mode players to instantly recharge stand ability cooldowns.
* **can_recharge_while_drowning:** true by default, allows stand cooldowns to recharge while drowning.
* **melt_dodge_ticks:** 20 by default.
* **melt_dodge_cooldown:** 80 by default.

Time Stop Settings:
* **max_time_stop_ticks_star_platinum:** 100 by default, sets the maximum length of a Star Platinum Time Stop.
* **max_time_stop_ticks_the_world:** 100 by default, sets the maximum length of a The World Time Stop before bonuses apply.
* **additional_time_stop_ticks_for_fully_charged_the_world:** 80 by default, sets the bonus duration for a fully-charged max-level The World Time Stop.
* **impulse_time_stop_length:** 20 by default, sets the length, in ticks, of an impulse timestop
* **rate_of_charging_time_stop:** 2 by default.
* **time_stop_minimum_cooldown:** 200 by default, sets the minimum length cooldown for a successful Time Stop. 
* **time_stop_additional_cooldown_per_seconds_used_multiplier:** 100 by default, sets the increase in Time Stop cooldown per amount of time that time is stopped. 
* **time_stop_bonus_actions_cooldown:** 300 by default, sets the increase in cooldown duration if an action is performed while time is stopped.
* **time_stop_interrupted_cooldown:** 60 by default, sets the cooldown for Time Stop after being interrupted while charging.
* **time_stop_is_always_interruptable:** true by default, allows attacks of any kind to interrupt Time Stop, regardless of other configs.
* **prevents_breathing:** false by default, prevents time-stopping players from being able to breathe during stopped time.
* **enable_hovering:** true by default, allows time-stopping players to hover by holding the space bar.
* **mobs_teleport_instead_of_stopping_time:** true by default, causes mobs with a time-stopping stand to teleport rather than perform a true timestop.
* **warden_moves_in_stopped_time:** true by default, causes the Warden to ignore time stopping.
* **player_damage_cap_health_percent:** 30 by default, the percentage of max health that a time-stopped player can take in a given instance of time stop.
* **creative_mode_infinite_time_stop:** true by default, causes the time stop of creative-mode players to last infinitely until deactivated.
* **block_range_negative_one_is_infinite:** 100 by default, sets the radius (in blocks) around the user for which time will be stopped with -1 equaling infinite range.


* **only_stand_users_can_see_stands:** true by default, makes stands invisible to non-stand users.
* **only_stand_users_can_see_vanilla_ghost_mobs:** false by default, makes ghasts, phantoms, etc. invisible to non-stand users.
* **render_justice_hands_while_piloting:** true by default, makes Justice's hands visible to the player in pilot mode.
* **render_armor_on_fog_clones:** true by default, causes clones produced by Justice's "Illusion Clones" ability to render wearing the user's armor.
* **render_gas_splatter_overlay:** false by default, causes a screen overlay to appear when doused in gasoline.
* **show_creative_text_on_worthiness_arrow:** true by default, displays an item lore description on Worthiness Arrows.
* **pressing_ability_keys_summons_stands:** true by default, allows any button tied to a stand ability (X, V, C, etc.) to summon the stand and activate the ability. When false, stands must be summoned manually before any abilities can be used.
* **disable_obvious_experimental_warning:** true by default, disables inconvenient warning when loading a world save that describes risks of experimental settings and encourages creating save backups.
* **justice_fog_brightness:** 100 by default, determines the brightness (whiteness) of Justice's fog. At low levels, fog appears blue.
* **magicians_red_textures_make_it_emmissive:** true by default, causes Magician's Red "F" skins (those with animated fire) to make the stand glow (akin to Glow Squids).
* **magicians_red_lashes_make_it_emmissive:** false by default, causes Magician's Red's "Flame Strike" moves to make the stand glow (akin to Glow Squids).
* **magicians_red_render_on_fire_in_first_person:** true by default, allows players to see a fire overlay on their screen in First Person if set on fire by Stand Fire attacks.

Particle Settings:
* **render_justice_particles_in_first_person:** true by default, determines if Justice produces fog while in 1st person.
* **render_justice_particles_while_piloting_in_first_person:** false by default, determines if Justice produces fog while piloting in 1st person.
* **justice_fog_particles_per_tick:** 5 by default, determines the number of fog particles produced by Justice.
* **justice_skin_flame_particles_per_tick:** 3 by default, determines the number of flame particles when using the "Flame" and "Blue Flame" Justice skins.
* **cfh_ticks_per_flame_particle:** 3 by default, determines the rate at which Crossfire Hurricane ankhs produce fire particles. Smaller values increase the particle rate.
* **body_bag_holding_particles_per_five_ticks:** 1 by default, determines the number of particles emitted from corpses while holding a body bag.
* **magicians_red_firestorm_embers_rate:** 0.01 by default, determines the rate at which ember particles are produced by an active Crossfire Firestorm. Larger values increase the particle count.

Opacity Settings: (Values range from 0-100)
* **opacity_of_stand:** 100.0 by default, determines how opaque your own stand is to yourself. Has no effect for other players' visibility.
* **opacity_while_attacking:** 100.0 by default, determines opacity of stand while performing an attack animation.
* **opacity_of_others:** 100.0 by default, determines how opaque the stands of other players/mobs appear to you. 

Time Stop Settings:
* **time_stop_freezes_screen:** false by default, freezes the screen of time-stopped players to match canon perspective.
* **simple_time_stop_shader:** true by default, adds a desaturation shader over your vision when time is stopped.
