Ratt is a long-ranged Main Stand that fires needles that melt their targets on impact, reducing their maximum HP with each hit.

Flesh Blocks/Chunks

Mobs that die while inflicted with Melting will drop a flesh projectile that creates Flesh Block tiles on the ground worth 5 flesh. Flesh Blocks are slow to break and slow the movement of mobs and players traveling through them. Ratt users have total immunity to the movement penalties of Flesh Blocks and can right-click Flesh Blocks with an empty hand to instantly obtain their value in Flesh Chunks, food items that are significantly better for Ratt users.

Flesh Bucket

Right-clicking on Flesh Blocks with a Bucket will fill it with up to 16 flesh obtained from a 5×5 block area centered around the point clicked. Right-clicking while holding a Bucket of Melted Flesh will fire a flesh projectile that places its value in Flesh Blocks on impact with the ground, allowing Flesh Blocks to be quickly cleaned or spread. Any entities struck by the flesh projectile will be inflicted with Slowness II for 3 seconds. All players are capable of doing this, so this passive skill is just to give information.

Skills

Scoped Mode

When activated, Ratt will be held in the user's hand, providing a moderate visual zoom and replacing the ability to attack or use items. While in this state, a meter will appear over the cursor, and the "Mode Change" and "Fire Darts" skills become usable.

Mode Change

When activated, toggles the firing mode between Burst Fire and Single Fire.

Burst Fire

Shoots up to three darts, gaining one dart for each third of the meter charged, allowing for multiple stacks of Melting to be applied quickly. Melting applied by Burst Fire darts lasts for 30 seconds.

Single Fire

Shoots a single dart that can be fired as early as the one-third charge but has significantly increased knockback, damage, and a Melting duration of 45 seconds when fully-charged.

Fire Darts

Holding right-click will cause the meter above the cursor to fill, allowing darts to be fired by left-clicking upon reaching at least a third, but with increased effects at higher levels. All darts inflict the Melting effect on hit, a stacking effect that reduces the maximum HP of the target by 1 per level. Darts fired from Scoped Mode can ricochet once upon hitting a block.

Ratt Place

Allows Ratt to be placed as a stationary turret at a distance of up to ~8 blocks at the position of the cursor. If the player is looking at the side or bottom of a block, or the side of the block beneath it, Ratt will be placed on top of the block. While placed, Ratt will aim at the cursor, and outlines will appear around entities you face within range, locking Ratt's aim onto them. While Ratt is placed, crouching will highlight Ratt and replace the EXP bar with a bar displaying its distance from you. The user must remain within 30 blocks of Ratt at all times or it will return to their shoulder. In addition to range limitations, stand users can use their stands or melee attacks to attack Ratt directly while it is placed, dealing damage to the user and returning it to their shoulder.

Placed Burst Fire

While Ratt is placed, this move can be activated, firing a tight cluster of 3 Ratt Darts that apply Melting for 30 seconds. Unlike the Scoped Mode burst fire skill, the darts are fired simultaneously and do not ricochet.

Automatic Mode

Can be activated when Ratt is placed on the ground and a target is highlighted. Upon activation, Ratt's aim will lock onto the specified target and take repeated burst fire shots as quickly as possible. Automatic Mode can be cancelled by retriggering the ability, picking up Ratt, or unsummoning the stand entirely.

Dash

Press C to dash, gaining a burst of speed in a single direction. If you time it well with a jump, you gain additional distance at the cost of a longer cooldown.

Ratt Leap

Launches Ratt in the direction faced by the cursor. Lateral launches do not travel far, but Ratt can leap ~10 blocks vertically, making it most effective for repositioning to high ground or reaching a better spot from which to shoot a target.
