The Jackal Rifle is a firearm that fires Rifle Ammunition.
Unlike other firearms, the bullets fired from a Jackal Rifle move 50% faster than normal and deal damage proportional to the time they are allowed to fly, dealing up to 28 base damage if allowed to fly for 7+ ticks (0.35s) before hitting a target. The Jackal Rifle can only hold a single round, demanding it be reloaded by shift right-clicking after each shot. Switching the selected slot or taking damage while reloading will cancel the process.
All firearms deal reduced damage when fired in stopped time, but Jackal Rifle shots are the most severely affected, with their maximum damage reduced to 3.7 (86.8% reduction).
