Locacaca are a food item that fully heals the player in exchange for transforming a random part of the player's body to stone. Once a player has been turned to stone, any Locacaca eaten will cure the petrified part instead of healing the player and will petrify a new body part. Petrification is cured on death or can be transferred to another nearby player or mob by eating a New Locacaca.
Petrification Effects:
- Head: Applies a visual overlay, similar to a Pumpkin, decreasing effective field of view.
- Chest: Drown 4x Faster (Not including TW's air tanks), and walk 15% slower.
- Heart: Take 1 damage per second. Heart texture in HUD is modified.
- Arm (Dominant)*: Reduced melee and mining speed.
- Arm (Nondominant)*: Prevents use of offhand items.
- Leg: Player walks 18% slower.
*By switching your dominant hand in skin settings, you can effectively switch arm curses.
Locacaca can be found growing in Jungle biomes and Locacaca Pits can be found in Shipwreck structure chests. Locacaca Pits can be planted in any dirt variant to grow a Locacaca plant and, once fully grown, can be repeatedly harvested similar to Sweet Berry Bushes. Locacaca Pits can be crafted from Locacaca.
